After having acquired a foreign language, we need to “use it or lose it.” In order to make constant progress in your target language, and avoid regression, GPN has created an environment where your languages are used. We offer Language Immersion Clubs (LICs), which include the GPN Social Club and the GPN Debating and Public Speaking Club, for different age groups. We also have at your disposal what we call Personal Study Advisor (PSA) and the unique Global Learners’ Networking (GLN).
GPN Social Club
GPN Social Club (GSC) offers a fun and interactive way for you to further improve your English, Chinese and French communication skills. Through the club’s activities, you’ll have the opportunity to participate in a diverse range of social events (e.g. parties, trips, picnic, sporting events etc.) where only the target language is spoken. These activities are arranged periodically throughout the year.
GSC has a leadership platform led by a president elected by the club members. Club activities take place every two weeks, and are organized and led by the club’s president.
GPN Debating and Public Speaking Club
GPN Debating and Public Speaking Club (GDPSC) gives you another opportunity improve your language skills. Here, you use the knowledge gained during your studies to express your ideas in a real English, French or Chinese environment, this is also a chance to prepare for GPN’s Public Speaking and Debate competitions.
Like GSC, GDPSC has a leadership platform led by a president elected by the club members. Club activities also take place every two weeks, and are organized and led by the club’s president.
GPN Kids Club for Fun
GPN Kids Club for Fun (GKCF) offers real life opportunities for language practice in real life situations with indoor and open-air activities (e.g. sport, outdoor games, window shopping etc.). The GKCF activities are organized by our language training staff and personal study advisors.
Personal Study Advisor (PSA)
A Personal Study Advisor (PSA) will provide interactive sessions, tutorials, and arrange one-on-one meetings to discuss the progress of your educational journey at GPN. This is a complimentary service included with all of our training courses. The PSA offers guidance and assists you through your training program
Global Learners’ Networking (GLN)
Global Learners’ Networking (GLN) is an online interactive community, where you can chat, exchange e-mails, engage in conversations, and make friends with GPN networking members from foreign countries. Through this program, you'll improve your language level while making friends and having fun.
To share these clubs and global networking opportunities, we recruit volunteers who will conduct activities, lead and get first-hand benefits from GPN as an organization.
